SPIKES is a concept retail store for Christian Louboutin. It is located at Genting Awana SkyCentral. The area is considering as high tourist population. Spikes will boost the popularity of the brand, Christian Louboutin. The idea of the design was inspired by the famous in-house signature spike series of shoes.

 

The design concept is by using the fusion of signature spike series characteristics - sharp edges, high heel, red sole and the existing design statement – boosting self-confidence & sexiness. Each of the space design elements and environment is based on the characteristics mentioned. The design elements of the spaces in the store are courage, daring, self-confidence, and sexiness.

 

The store is divided into 2 floors. Separating the spaces into 6 main areas including the interactive area, 2 men shoes display area, 2 women shoes display area, and a lounge area. Interactive area is there to attract tourist from coming into the store and enjoy the items on exhibit. Spikes is not only about selling premium shoes, it also enhances the understanding of the brand since this will be the first Christian Louboutin retail store in Malaysia. The consumers able to have a memorable moment as all spaces provide different experience. This will become a significant landmark of Genting Awana SkyCentral.
